The Artist
THE ARTIST, both assertive and whimsical, follows Georgia O’Keeffe’s circular journey to embrace the artist’s self. This journey is disrupted by love, critics, success, and a broken system that exploits women, just as it did the Indigenous and their land. Each of the nine actors in the cast tackle one of the core characters in Georgia's life, while also filling out the citizens of the artist's world, and trading off the title role throughout this queer folk musical.
