“Durra Leung's Lullabies for Motherf*ckers Vol.2” is a one-person fantasy thriller. Set in early 2010s, “Vol.2” follows Durra, a non-binary Chinese-American painter, investigating the mysterious disappearance of their immigrant father Hóng in an all-white rural town in Colorado, and facing off against a murderous monster who isn’t that different from Durra themselves. “Vol.2” is a part of the “Lullabies for Motherf*ckers” trilogy which consists of three theatrically distinctive full-length pieces, each following a different “Durra” character (different in gender, sexuality, profession, proximity to Chinese identity and languages, etc.) in a self-contained story within a shared universe.
