Rebbekah Vega-Romero (she/her/ella) is an Afro-Latina-Jewish actor/singer/writer, who resides in her native NYC with her cat. Performance: Magnolia, Show/Boat: A River, Target Margin & NYU Skirball; Maria, West Side Story, 5th Avenue; Luisa, The Fantasticks, Cape Playhouse; Martha Cratchit, A Christmas Carol, Denver Center; Rini, The Moss Maidens, SheNYC Arts festival; plus countless other productions, readings & workshops. Writing: 2024 BMI Bookwriting Workshop member; 2024 Finalist for O’Neill National Playwrights Conference; 2024 & 2023 Candela Fellow at Dramatists Guild Foundation; founding member of the DIEZ collective; Librettist with the Untitled Writer’s Group; produced playwright with Playground-NY.
