Josh Ben-Ami
Josh Ben-Ami (he/him) is a theatrical pop songwriter living in New York. His debut album, PIVOT, was released in 2023, and his newest EP, MATTER, was released in October 2024. His songs for short film IT'S CHRISTMAS, WITCH won the 48 Hour Film Project Award for Best Music. Josh composed the score for musicals MAYA'S MOTHER and #MASC4MASC, with James Martinez Salem. His work has been performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below, Dixon Place and The Duplex. He is a graduate of the Gallatin school at New York University, and received an MFA from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at Tisch School of the Arts in 2020. Proud member of ASCAP. In addition to running a pop culture blog called "Josh Ranks Things," he is currently working on another pop album and a new musical, because why not?
