Harrison Lewis
Harrison Lewis is a composer, lyricist, and librettist based in Brooklyn. He recently received his M.A. in Creative Media & Technology at Berklee College of Music – New York City where he specialized in Writing & Production for Musical Theatre and developed his two thesis musicals: Seven Steps Around the Fire (w/ Emielyn Das – Album Release 2025, EnActe Arts 2025) and The Boy Who Painted the Sky (w/ Katie Brady & Madeleine Skye). He previously graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University’s School of Communication, where he studied musical theater and had the opportunity to develop multiple of his original works, including The Dogwood Trees (NMTC Semi-Finalist 2023), Waterland (w/ Matthew Millin), and Behind the Mirrors (a play with music). He frequently collaborates with Chicago artists Jessica Thebus and Julie Marie Myatt, writing songs for their devised plays How to Know the Wildflowers: A Map (Wirtz Center 2024) and The Beyond (Writers Theatre 2025). In addition to his work as a writer, he is an experienced actor, musician, director, educator, and nature-lover!!
