Danny Ursetti
Danny Ursetti is a New York based composer, arranger/orchestrator, copyist, and drummer/percussionist. Selected Writing Credits: Regretting Almost Everything (Barrington Stage Company, 54 Below, NAMT Festival Committee Recommended Musical), Mimosa (NAMT 15min-musical winner, Broadway’s Future Songbook, Song Slam Cabaret) and Once Every Hundred Years (lyrics by Tony winner William Finn, presented at Williams College).
Danny’s songs, musicals, and arrangements have been developed and presented at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, New York Philharmonic, Pasadena Pops, Goodspeed Musicals, Two River Theater, Barrington Stage, Prospect Theater Company, NYU Tisch, Coastal Carolina University, Forestburgh Playhouse, and The 52nd St. Project. His drum/percussion credits include A Walk on the Moon (George Street Playhouse), Thru (concept album), Themes for Falling Down Stairs (album), Soft Butter (Original Cast Recording), and Borrowed Cash (A.R.T.). Danny is a City Artist Corps Grant recipient, American Prize Semi-Finalist (Chamber Music) and Global Music Award Winner. He is a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop, HomeBrewed Writers Collective and a Voting Member of the Recording Academy.
