Anna Jastrembski
Captain Zuke
Anna Jastrzembski is a New York City and Santa Fe-based playwright, television writer, and lyricist. She graduated with an MFA in Playwriting from Columbia University in 2019. Anna’s work often combines a relentless interrogation of the status quo, exploration of sexuality and identity, and an embrace of the fantastic. Recent credits include A Modest Proposal (The Studio at The Cherry Lane Theatre), DOG (Signature Theatre Studio), and The Happy Garden of Life. Her original musical, Captain Zuke, was a Semi-Finalist for the O’Neill Musical Theater Conference 2023 and will have its concert premiere at Joe’s Pub in August, 2024. Anna is also a member of the SOUR MILK experimental theater collective. Their works FEAST (The Tank) TRAFFIC (The Exponential Festival ’23) and DIRT (The Exponential Festival ’24) have been enjoyed across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
