Ghost Town

Kelly Dupuis is a bookwriter and lyricist whose musical JUBILEE, created with composer Marc Smollin, won the Daryl Roth Award and received a staged reading produced by The Directors Company in New York City. Her collaboration with Smollin also produced EDUARDO, a viral cabaret hit performed by Tony Award winners Celia Keenan-Bolger and Kristin Chenoweth. She wrote the one-act musical BEHRMAN with composer John Tarbet and is currently developing a supernatural thriller musical with Richard Rodgers and Jonathan Larson award-winner Scott Murphy. An alumna of the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Vassar College, and the National Theater Institute, Dupuis completed a residency at Drama Club Camp in 2024. She is pursuing her MSW at Hunter College's Silberman School of Social Work and is the proud mother of her daughter, Daisy.

I came into this week focused on making this time valuable, but I could never have imagined how cared for I would feel. This entire experience has one huge hug for my creativity. I have felt so unbelievably nourished this week. And lucky. And that mysterious state of being I crave -- INSPIRED. I think my life has been forever changed by Drama Club Camp.
